This is typically my approach. When I am confronted with comparisons, I recenter the focus on the educational institution that I represent.

Ask why they want this information and then answer what our school has to offer.

I believe this is the best procedure to follow when speaking to a student.

It is important that a recruiter refrains from discussing facts about another school, whether the information is known of unknown. We should tell the prospective student to contact the school in question or visit their website.

Make sure to focus on the positives that your school can offer. Let the student do their own research to make their own decision.

Make sure you let the student know what your school has to offer him/her and avoid talking about other schools. I would tell tthe student that he/she may do their research but you have no idea what is offered elsewhere.

Let the student know to compare the schools they are researching and interested in attending. We should be honest and clear with our answers to ensure that they understand what we are saying.

Simply list your schools info and suggest that the student contact other schools regarding their programs and processes.

I continue to let the student know that there are other good schools to attend. The best sutuation is to allow the student to perform their own due diligence in making the right choice which benefits them ultimately. Ask the right questions.

I let my students know that it is important that they compare one school from another - that they make sure they are making a sound decision.

giving them all the information why our school would be a fit for them

Always tell teh student to do their own research regarding "the Other" schools. We hold ourselves to higher standards and thus we do not engage in the practice of discussing other schools.

Provided student factual information and encourage student evaluated the other schools and what the have to offer before make there final decision.

I only discuss the school that i work for. I inform student's that I am not familiar with the other school that they would like to discuss.

Tell or inform the student what you know about your school Strengths. What they offer the best.

I would advise the student that those are great questions, unfortunately I am only armed with the information regarding my school and encourage them to do their own research independently.

Simply list your schools info and suggest that the student contact other schools regarding their programs and processes.

Identifying and expanding on your strengths as an institution provides the student with a competitive outlook on the school and what we have to offer, contrasting those strengths with other institutions is up to the prospective student. Explanation and a clear concise overview of the institution provide an accurate portrayal of the school and how it compares with competitors.

Give them our school info and tell them to call the other school to get there info directly.

It is best to inform the students about this institution. If they want information about a competing school, then invite them to do research about it on their own. It is best not to get into a discussion about a competing school. I would simply explain to them that it would be unprofessional for me to get into that with them.
