Legal Obligations and Opportunities

Technological advances have opened up a huge new range of opportunities for disabled students to attend college/university without feeling they can't compete with fellow students. With the government making steady legislature to ensure this will continue, this will provide disabled individuals with hope.

I believe this is especially true for some with PTSD, Asperger's Syndrome, and other debilitating disorders that make the traditional classroom environment inaccessible.

I know one person with PTSD who is very intelligent but environments that were once welcoming are now full of triggers. He is taking all online college courses to prepare for a career that will allow him to work from home. If he was unable to pursue his degree online he would not be able to attend college at all.
