I became thoroughly familiar with all of the Policies and Procedures regarding Title IX and its implementation within our institution. I am pleased to have this in place.

I have learned that it is a good practice to have all employees trained on what to do with this subject and to be clear in giving information to all students, employees and applicants.

The role of the Title IX coordinator is very important, this information as to who the person is designated should be posted and everyone on campus aware.

The institution is responsible to make sure the campus makes necessary adjustments to make all students feel safe.

Small school do not have to have a full time employee responsible for TitleIX

I have learned about the Title IX coordinaters responsibility and other faculty as well in reporting violent crimes or harrassment, unwanted texts or e-mails. I plan to pay attention to the dialogue and report suspected incidents to be investigated.

The students and staff shoudl be aware of who and how to report an incident.

It is important to have individuals available to whom a staff member or student can make a report.

I liked the part regarding how to train responsible employees and I intend to implement this on my campus.

Responsibility to report.

After completing this module, I actually looked up different institutions' websites to see if they had access to this information, including who their Title IX coordinator was. I guess in the past I was not always looking for that information, so I never really realized it was present. It was reassuring to see that a simple search would give contact information and the institution's stance with Title IX.

Great info in this

immediate response to any topic related to Title IX is extremely important

This is my 3rd academic institution and it's the first time I've heard of Title IX, the Clery Act, VAWA and FERPA.  Glad I'm here.

The Title IX Coordinator's responsiblities is to be known by students, faculty and staff and to provide training, conduct climate surveys, process requests for confidentiality, maintain records, modify and increase safety measures and policies when needed, and to continually review the effectiveness of these policies to students and staff.

It is very important to maintain the confidentiality of the reporter and ensure that they feel safe and supported.

The title topic is most appropriate "building a safer campus". This topic has been very informative regarding what needs to be done regarding sexual harassment, violence and so on. Title IX is definitely a must for all schools to utilize in creating a safer campus and having a blueprint to follow. .

The Title 9 Coordinator has may duties including : training, surverying campus, requesting confidenciality, record keeping, increasing safety measures and review information to make sure the safety is still effective. I did not know that VAMA can not require a victim of sexual violence to contact the police but are able to use the data for their statistics .

It is the Title IX Coordinator's responsibility to provide training to students, faculty, and staff about Title IX and VAWA. The name of the Title IX Coordinator and Responsible Employees needs to be posted in student catalogs, handbooks, and flyers on campus. The resources provided in this course are very helpful such as PowerPoint templates and the worksheet to show awareness of Title IX information.
