Customer Service
At the college where I teach we have discussed the importance of customer service a lot. We discuss this because again, we want to be sure our students and anyone else entering our building know how much we care about current students and future students as well. One thing we do in regards to customer service is that when we help someone and have to direct them to another place or person we walk them to the place or person not just point and direct them to it. This allows them to get to who or what they need without additional problems. This also happens on the first day of class for new students and on orientation day.
With out the customer we would not be here, so to me they are the most important,we also do the same at our campus.

Part of customer service is to make the students feel important and comfortable. At my auto repair school we have many posters to visualize the students success and "dreams" for the future.
I agree...so important to let students know they are important & we do the same thing here at our campus!
