I agree that it is important to understand your personality style. We have done that at out school and I have found it to be very helpful. Not just for myself, but in understanding other personality types.
I also think it it very valuable to observe other instructors. Everytime I do I always learn new method, tips or techniques that I can use in my classroom. I wish that more opportunity existed to observe others!
