Instructors need to put the best effort forth on the first class meeting, lead by example and students will follow. Start the class off by introduction and asking each student to introduce themsleves. Expain the school policy and describe any special rules you will require from the students during the class. Show students the ways to improve their grades and participate better in class. Tell students about ATTITUDE !!!! Everyone has personel problems and when you come to class, leave your problems at the door, you will be able to collect them afterwards.
