We start off by having an orientation night a week before classes start for new students.In this orientation we only spend about 45min in the classroom with the new students, during this time we dont go over any major expetations we mainly introduce them to staff and give them time to do a meet and greet with staff without all the hustle and bustle of other students.We wait until the first day off classes to go over all expectations.The way our classes run for day students is they have a 9am - 12:30pm class then a 2pm- 5:30 pm class so for these new students we spend the whole first class (3.5 hours) going over expectations and with our night students their classes run 7pm-10:30pm so we spend this class also going over expetations as well. Also at the end of both these classes we like to aske the students their expactations of us. I hope this answeres your question.
