Paige, Thank you for sharing your school's information with the forum. Even though you had less enrollments did your retention rate increase? Cindy Bryant
Claudia, If I understand your thoughts...you are saying that sometimes integrity is lacking in educational institutions?? If this is the case how do you change this? Cindy Bryant
Thomas, You are right, there are students that will take the disclosures very seriously and ask a lot of questions to ensure that they are getting the best possible education for their money. Then their are students that are very trusting and depend on you to take care of them and make sure that they are treated fairly. This applies to everyone in society. Cindy Bryant

Melenie, I don't think that anyone could argue the point that education is a great way to get your life on track and for future opportunities. However, it is important that the basic needs are met such as, food, clothing, and shelter. Cindy Bryant
Victoria, Hi! I can appreciate your confidence in your campus. It is wonderful to know that you strive toward graduation for each student. My caution would be to focus on the positive of your institution without any comparisons. Cindy Bryant

Carrie, I must commend your campus for taking compliance so seriously. As a trainer for many years, two of my goals in training sessions are to have fun and to inspire my participants to find ways to improve when they get back on the job. Since most employees appreciate the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills, as a trainer, why not make it fun, so it will stick? I personally like to create and plan activities that are fun but also serve as learning tools. Hats off to your trainer. Cindy Bryant

There are so many qualities that a teacher needs to have in order to become a good teacher, and be a good leader in the classroom. One of the easiest ways for a teacher to teach is to gain respect. One of the easiest ways to gain respect is to lead by example. Therefore it is important that a teacher lead by example.

Sarai, When you're put on the spot and find yourself stumbling over an answer, there's a foolproof strategy to help you out of the situation. When you're asked a question you don't know the answer to, the best way to show how smart and capable you really are is to use the following Great on the Job three-step strategy: 1. Here's what I know 2. Here's what I don't know 3. Here's how I'll figure it out Then follow-up with the student and provide feedback. Cindy Bryant
