Kristi, Career colleges have been in existence since the industrial revolution and gained momentum in the early 20th century. For years they have attracted the non-traditional student who prefers to work with their hands as opposed to learning more about theoretical events. They are profiled as you mentioned "they have not been in school for several years, work full time, displaced worker, etc." However, with the evolution of the career college and the changes in the socioeconomic culture we are seeing more "traditional" students looking for a more defined education that will allow them to learn a skill and move… >>>

Name three items you recall regarding specific disclosures made by your institution and how they impact a student's decision to enroll in your institution?

How often does your institution conduct exit loan counseling? How has exit loan counseling affected your campuses default loan metrics?
What procedures does your institution have in place to ensure that students and prospective students receive the currently required disclosures? Do you feel the students read and understand the disclosures they are presented with?
Program Integrity requires that Pell eligible students have access to course materials and books in a timely manner. How does your organization handle distribution of student materials? Share a time when you had to improvise and how well it worked in your classroom.
