Julie, Bringing in others on your tour to make it more interactive is great. It's always important to make sure others you bring in on the tour are prepared. How do you prepare the students that aid you on the tour? Dr. Jean Norris
Julie, These are great questions, and it sounds like you can get a lot of information. I'm curious, how do your students react to rating themselves? Dr. Jean Norris
Julie, Great awareness! And that is correct, attitude and people skills make up 75% of what is needed of the four elements of success. What is the reason, do you think, that attitude is important to serving students in an ethical fashion? Dr. Jean Norris
Michael, You got it! You never know, the student might be telling you exactly what they need to enroll while you are thinking about the next step. So, knowing that, what is something that you can do to prevent thinking about the next step? Dr. Jean Norris
David, Great point. It sounds like you have experience with a leader that might have operated this way, or you yourself are a leader. Can you share your experience? Dr. Jean Norris
That is interesting point, Mickie. How can you help to fix this issue, in the role you currently have? Dr. Jean Norris
Derrick, You are exactly correct! What can you do, in your role, to ensure organizational practices are compliant? Dr. Jean Norris
James, Well said, and truly excellent points. Making a connection with students should not be limited to the Admissions Advisor. How can you ensure that others in the institution are utilizing the "advisor" hat to make connections? Dr. Jean Norris
Mickie, You make an interesting point. How do you go about building that relationship with your students? Dr. Jean Norris
That's a great idea, Maria. How will introducing the staff positively effect your tour? Dr. Jean Norris
