Learning students names by day three sounds like quite a challenge. Do you have some techniques that you use to learn the names so quickly? Do you involve the students in a classroom exercise to help with the process?

How do your students respond to these calls? Does their attendance improve? Do they understand that they will have to notify their employer when they can't get to work? It seems that this is a foreign concept to many students.
Please tell us more about the "student success plan". What's in it? How is it developed? Does each student have a unique plan? How often is it updated and who oversees the progress being made by the student?

Sounds like a very aggressive advisement program. Have you seen results from this approach? How are advisors assigned and how do you monitor their performance? I can imagine that human nature may impact who is chosen for luncheon meetings and who may be overlooked.
