Activity

Sounds like a great idea Lee! Sounds tough but do enjoy the good times. Also, it's ok to take a break every now and then if another family member can watch them for a few hours. Taking a step away can really help you be more fully there for them when you return.
Tennis is a great activity Ron. Great idea. Getting more exercise in your schedule can mitigate a lot of the stress in your life. I'd recommend finding a reliable partner who likes to play often. That will likely do the trick.
I like your approach Ben and nice word choice on "cushion." Yes, try to get to the source of stress - that's the best approach.
Yes, mental to do's can be great but also stressful. Sometimes when we make a mental note of too many tasks, it can become hard to think of anything but those tasks.
Sounds like you have found some great coping mechanisms Fredrick. Both running and dog walking are wonderful outlets...and I'm sure the dogs appreciate it too!
It sounds like you have done a very accurate assessment of yourself Jenny. That's a great place to start. Far too often, instructors don't realize how stressed out they are. You are standing on a solid foundation in your perception of your current situation. Now it's time to stand on that and do something about it.
Yes, letting go is a great technique Robert. For stressors that are beyond our sphere of influence, this approach is often the best choice.
Discussion Comment
Balance is absolutely the key Joseph. I like how you can see the relationship between happiness at home and the need to work. We've got to work some to make sure we've got our basic needs at home met and more. At the same time, we've got to make sure we don't work too much or our personal life needs go unmet.
Those both sound like effective approaches Marvin. It's easy to get lost in a crossword puzzle and a hot shower can make all the difference. Thanks for sharing!
I like your approach of complimenting tests with diagrams Angelina. Diagrams really provide great context.
