I believe that learning the different learning styles of each student will allow the instructor to interact with each student , based on the different learning styles. This knowledge will help me as a teach to know which direction to take as far as my teaching strategy.

By knowing student's learning styles, I can more effectively customize my course delivery methods to accomodate them and to insure that maximum knowledge transfer occurs. The challenge is to satisfy all learning styles that my students have. I accomplish this by varying my course delivery methods on a daily basis. Bottom line is that it works and leads to excellent student motivation and retention.

In my classes, we balance lecture/activities with actual lab work. By knowing and altering learning styles, the students that find the information part of the class boring, will help them to be more engaged and hopefully learn the content of the lesson better
Considering that the adult learner's attention span is about 10-15 minutes, knowing and focusing on their learning style helps them retain information and increases their level of class participation.
When knowing the learning styles of your students its takes less time to complete lesson plans and how to present the subject matter.

Knowledge of the students learning styles will help them retain the knowledge that the instructor imparts to them.
I feel that knowing the learning styles of your students is beneficial in that it can help you efficiently cover all the material in a way that everyone can get it. By having this knowledge it is easier to give everyone a fair chance at success, you know even the playing field a bit.
