In my resource notebook I have put the entire college handbook in there for my personal reference. I also put a list of all the rules and regualtions I am finding on this class so if I ever have any questions, I can also refer to it in there for an easy look up place!

Everyone is asking about financial aid and what scholarships they can get. Of course that is always a concern of the student to make sure they can pay for what they are getting, which is also smart because they do not want to get in too far over their heads if they have no possible way of paying it off one day!
My Resource Notebook has become invaluable for me! I love the suggestion to use separators for the various rules. That will make it helpful to find quickly to reference and change with an updated version, if necessary. I find when I am organized, I am able to share the information in a much more confident and responsible manner. That benefits our institution and our students!

Admission - The process of being admitted to the institution.
Registration - The official process of meeting all enrollment requirements so that a student may be accepted by the institution, once they have been accepted, they receive acknowledgement of acceptance from the Admissions Office.
Cost of Education - Includes tuition and fees, books and supplies, and miscellaneous expenses for a course/program.
Credit Hours - The number of hours per week that courses meet.
Exempt – the completion of an approved course from another institution that grants a student exemption into a higher-level course within the sequence of course for a particular program.

Accredited programs can either be through a programmatic accreditation or institutional accreditation. Make sure you know what yours is.

A Resource Notebook is a great tool for everyday use. In it, I like to keep pertinent information about the school, programs, and services to the students. I keep it more so like a binder as I can add tabs for easy finding of materials. Anytime amemndments are made to the programs or curricula, I can make changes to my binder, and use it as reference, rather than trying to remember everything as it is given to me.
