This is my 3rd day and have read quite a bit of of The Resource Notebook,I can see why its so important to stay updated ..Lot in informated imformation.
We should always work as a Team and sharing knowledge is a part of the task.
Rules and Regulations changes all the time and its a part of responsibility as admissions to stay informed, keep notebook updated so we are relaying correct information to our prospects
PDL's
Enrollment Agreements
Attestation
Enrollment agreement, financial aid, tour, interview
All the information given in this course and the school catalog, enrollment packet as well as other department information
We actually use a status system to define certain steps that are students take through out the admissions process. this is managed through daatabaase system that we use here on campus called CampusVue. We define the following statuses as:
- Contacted- simply means that we made an initial contact but no appt. has been set.
- Appointment - An appointment has been set
- Interviewed -at this the prospective student has conducted the initial interview whereby we have established their career goals.
- Application Recieved - this status indicates the student has completed all the requirments to apply for admission to our institution.
- Future Start- the student has completed the enrollment process and is awaiting the first day of school.
- Active- At this time the student is active.
We commonly use the term "Student Enrollment Agreement" when enrolling a new students. We also Inform out new students of "Financial Aid" availability and insure that they are fully aware of the admission requirements.
We use an student enrollment agreement as a binding contract, that is signed over DocuSign by the student and authorized personnel at our institution. It includes the terms of enrollment and provides disclosures to inform students of important policies.
I see the benefit in having a Notebook. Having all that information readily available and organized not only makes for a great tool, but acts as an interactive knowledge base. I have gathered many pieces related to vendor certification and Rule 6E-2.010, F.A.C. Agents for starters.
in our institution we always tell our prospective students that our institution is license and approve by the Florida board of nursing department of education. We also specify on the term payment plan and financial assistant that are available upon qualification.
We used multiple reference words on daily basis from this training through our admissions process

This is a great idea! I really like the idea of ongoing training and I believe that by keeping a resource notebook it'll allow me a point of reference. Understanding your institutions goals and vision is key in any admissions position and is vital part to conveying an institution's mission.
Terms used most commonly used would be programs-a perscribed group of courses, taken in proper sequence to attain mastery of a body of knowledge or set of skills, leading to a certificate, diploma, or degree.
Enrollment is another commonly used term which when registering a student to take programs or courses at an institution when such registrationobligates the student to pay tuition to the institution and obligates the institution to provide instruction to the student.
