placing them in a file by start date and program
We have pre-made admissions folders along with a checklist to ensure that all files are done correctly.
I have been organizing all the documents and paperwork related to this training in a ring binder, including an index of it content. I’m also comparing the documentation I’ve gathered with my workers so I can include what I miss.
Our school keeps prepared files ready and updated prior to the student arrival. Each file contains all required documents for the interview and enrollment process. Each file also contains a checklist that identifies all documents required for each file. Upon completion and review by the admissions representative, the files are forwarded to the Director of Admissions and an additional school official for review and approval. This ensures each file has met all compliance requirements.
Jose,
I would set the rules, statutes and accreditation information in the back. More frequent references would be in the beginning such as your catalog, addendums, organizational chart, frequently asked questions, product information and ad slicks. Make it your own!
Krystal,
The more we review, the better the compliance.
Maria,
Being organized is very important. Subject files can bea great process.
Lauren,
Paperless has so many advantages. Scanning is my new best friend :-)
Marcus,
Sounds very organized. Thanks for sharing your process.
Madeline,
Checklists are a great way to keep track of the documents and remain compliant.
Kimberly,
Most schools do as well.
Enrique,
Very good advice!
Anjenette,
Being able to access the information when you need it is the core value of the notebook.
Suzanne,
You are well prepared!
Maria,
Feel free to make the notebook your own after starting with the basics.
Laura,
Having a checklist is a great way to keep track and remain compliant. What a greast idea in separating the file into two sections!
Rick,
Knowing that you are going to be quizzed makes us pay attention more. Great idea.
We divide the file in two sections. In the left side we have a checklist with all the documents that we have to complete and in the right side we have all documents from the student. Checklist is so helpful, we have checklist about admissions area, financial area, student information, transfer credits area, etc. So you can see what it is missing in the file.
My goal is to know everything about the admissions training.
