Joyce,

Congratulations! You are learning much through all these processes.

Patty Aronoff

I believe my knowledge about my institution is very good. As the program registrar I keep up on all the curriculum changes and can answer questions students have about course options, especially as they go to their second year and can make their own choices. I also participate in the annual update of our policies & procedures manual, and do an annual review of our website information as it relates to courses & curriculum.

I have extensive knowledge about my institution.

I have learned a great deal about procedures for our institution from this course as well as experience in dealing with students on an outside basis from my husband being director of training. I as an outsider, learned about the catalogs, did computer work, website, etc. for the school. I am now becoming the administrator as of Jan. 2013 and have gong thru all the process of change of ownership, renewal of licensing etc. I'm very pleased with the information given in this course.

Cheryl,
You are exactly right! Thus the reason for the laws and rules for our sector. They protect the student and the school.

Justin,
So exciting! Best of luck to you!

Theresa,
Communication is key. Check with your admissions leadership to see how to accomplish your needs.

Robert,

Knowledge is such a powerful tool. Sharing the knowledge creates a better school and a better student. In turn, we create a better community.

Patty Aronoff

Patty, I will definitely do that. Thanks for your recommendation!

I have discovered there is more to the process than just registering for classes. I have found there are certain guidelines that have to be followed and the guidelines must be within the rims of the Florida Statutes or I could potentially cause damages to the school.

I feel my knowledge of our institution is on a high level. Having worked 17 years in professional baseball serving as an umpire, instructor, evaluator and executive director, I have been fortunate enough to be exposed to all facets of our industry. This has allowed me to utilize those experiences in building our school from the ground up. I have been involved in every phase of planning. From our inception through our inaugural class of 33 students who graduated last January, I have been involved in each step. This have given me unique perspective to share with our students in helping them make the best decisions to meet their goals and needs.

I have been at my school for over a year and while I know all there is to know about my campus the rest of our campuses are a constant surprise. There is not an employee hub to go to and see what is offered at other locations. This can all be found of course on the internet but it would be nice to understand more about the other campus in my state so I read everything that is posted about them.

I have great knowledge of my institution..As a EMS provider for teaching students the medical knowledge for EMT/Paramedic, having the correct knowledge is a great help.

Emily,

I love speaking with the instructors as they have so much to share!

Patty Aronoff

Mirtha,

Very good advice to which we all should take very seriously.

Patty Aronoff

Betty,

I would suggest that you add the rules and regulations of the Florida Board of Nursing to your resource notebook.

Natalie,
An institution who promotes learning and growth is the place to be.

JACLYN,
