Sophy,

The more we become involved in our entire organization, the better the school. Effective organizations break down those silos and meet the challenges together.

I am familiar with the programs, what the requirements are to be admitted into each program, what they must complete to graduate, what are licensing requirements for the jobs that my programs prepare my students for. How many clincal hours they need.

I am discovering requirements for facutly. I want to continue to stay abrest of what is going on the industry so our students always have the most up to date information and are prepaired when they graduate from our program.

I rate my institution as an 9 because I know the in and out of my institution. I help with putting all the classes together and helping our students

I agree, it helps more than anything to work in the depts., so you can get a good idea of what the students goes thru. You can learn so much from working with depts.

Suzanne,
Absolutely! Share your knowledge and expertise with others. You have much to share.

Christopher,

There is always something to learn. That is what makes our sector so exciting.

Patty Aronoff

Christopher,

Knowing the statutes and the rules gives you the understanding of why we do things the way we do.

Marie ,

The addition of new staff presents the opportunity to teach, learn and ask questions.

Aaron,

That is great! You can say you have changed that person's life and they were successful.

Tammy,

Agreed! We all have a role to play in the journey of our student to graduation.

John,

Organizational structure is very important and we should always follow chain of command. An organizational chart gives you the road map.

Patty Aronoff

John,
The instructors are a wealth of knowledge and that was a great resource to bring to your staff.

Thank you for your post. I discovered in the short time I have been with the company, I know quite a bit. However, did discover I need to know more about the advertising and marketing plans.

I love my job and am eager to learn more. Very, very important to stay on top of the changes.

I believe the knowledge I possess about my instituition is very good. I oversee all compliance, state and accreditation applications, policies and procedures, etc. Having these tasks ensures I know the instituition in and out. Because I have such a profound level of knowledge regarding the instituition I do try to share my information with other staff members frequently in meetings, emails, communications and more.

Continuining education and learning from your peers are two great ways to stay on top and be diligent when new rules or regulations come about. I personally think that no matter how long you are in your job that you can always learn and sharpen your skills on a daily basis, if you want to challenge yourself.

Great job Diana, really enjoyed reading your post.

I am a new representative and so there is a great deal of knowledge that I am learning everyday vs the knowledge that I entered into the job with. I already had an idea about things like reputation, schools of study, and standing in the community; but I had no idea of the amout of rules and regulations that govern schools like this.

I would rate the knowledge about my institution very high due to the training program that they have in place. Understanding about your job and the role/responsibilites you play with the potential student is a great responsibility. No matter what you know you can learn something new everyday.

My knowledge is about 90% and need to know the new staff and get involved in classes and other activities.

Michelle.

I am currently the trainer for my organization so I think that I have a large amount of information stored in my memory, but I also use a lot of reference information. I have multiple subject area binders that hold informaiton about specific programs.

I can rate my knowledge of my institution as good. I have discover the process from the start of an application to the time that they graduate and seeing the participating in the wwhole processes has been a learning experience. I can say now that all my student have had a great experience with us and thats from the customer service we provide and the knowledge that I have gained.
