We are also a small school with all of our staff working closely together. We meet to ensure that everyone is aware of what types of advertising takes place and we want to make sure that everyone knows what is going in front of our prospective students, and also it helps to ensure that we stay compliant. We are in compliance. We use email campaigns, go to grad fairs, etc. - we always strive to be transparent and truthful in all of our interaction with prospective students.

Actually the word-of-mouth can be the greatest asset to have when it comes to advertising. Especially in a small community. Word-of-mouth carry such credibility and it's free.

There are limited resources being utilized to promote the school at this time such as word of mouth, website, social media, brochure, catalog and open house. Other resources are available and can be implemented to ensure proper advertising is achieved to generate more awareness and information for the programs being offered to prospective and even current students. I made a checklist which I am intending to apply to generate and improve student enrollment.

We are a small institution as well and utilize social media and our website for advertising. Although, not as effective as billboards and publications, the internet has afforded smaller schools the opportunity to advertise at a reasonable cost.

Our advertising promotes the course for those interested in our field. We ensure that our advertising is informative and precise; inform the prospective students of our course offerings without any false indications or promises.

It is a challenge financially to increase enrollment on a strict advertising budget in our area.

We have found a whole new market on Facebook.

That's easiest for us. We are a small institution as well however we are quickly growing. I find it much easier to duplicate the same standards and procedures set for by CIE when advertising. It keeps everyone on one accord.

The promotional methods and strategies used to promote our institution to prospective students is done so through different delivery methods and targeting methods. Mailers, print ads in targeted publications, interaction with potential students at fairs and conventions, and informational sessions held at targeted locations are all ways that our programs are marketed. Constantly reviewing the compliance literature and maintaining compliance is important, while continuing to be innovative in our marketing strategies.

I am lucky to work for an institution that has 6 locations in south florida and has great exposure. All of the literature (from billboards, to pamphlets,to materials for fairs) are all to compliance and are uniform in design, name and message.

The more eyes you have it reviewed the advertising and marketing material, the better. Sometimes it's the littlest thing that can take you down the wrong path. I can remember in advertising for medical assistant where they were drawing blood but had no gloves on.

Consider going to community events in your area. The more you connect the more the word of mouth gets out.
