Sonise ,
We should always be looking for new opportunities to learn about our school. You will never be disappointed.

Patty Aronoff

We have consultants who provide us with routine in services in regards to changes and updates in policy and procedure and guidelines as set forth by the state and board of nursing. I maintain a binder with the most up to date regulations for both and frequently review them to ensure compliance,

In order to learn more about your career school is to read the school's catlog, mission statement, attend training classes, read school's publication, etc. Ask your supervisor or director of admission questions you are not sure of.

Robyn,
Excellent! Keep on learning. You will find that many of the rules in Florida are similar to other states. But there are nuances attributable to state of Florida.

Patty Aronoff

I've served students in the for-profit sector for the past 10 years, but am new to Florida. I see the CEU training as an excellent way to become familiar with the regulations and supporting documents of a new state. The sessions are well-done for the education of the admissions staff new to our career school world.

Mercedes,
Being prepared is so important in admissions. We are to be trained and ready for any questions that are asked of us by our prospective student

Patty Aronoff

Mercedes,

We need to be thoroughly knowledgeable with the catalog. The catalogue along with the enrollment agreement constitutes the contract. We need to be able to speak to the information in both documents.

Patty Aronoff

A new Admission Rep. needs to know everything about the different programs that the Institution offer, read the catalog, participate in all training and review the Admission work book at all time they need answer.

First thing is get familiar with the catalog in order to be able to provide the prospect students with the correct answer, Read and practice the Admission traing step by step, and trainig weekly with the new and seniors representatives.

Thomas,
Excellent! We always need to keep training and learning. Never stop!

Patty Aronoff

Veronica,

The web is becoming the first point of reference for information. We use the internet for immediate response to our questions.

Patty Aronoff

As a institution we have established quartly training going over regulation, procedures and polices

We have a lot of information on the website of the institution. We also have access to internal working documents.
Whenever a process is updated the comunication area notify us by mail all the changes.
And then of course we have direct access to the catalog and statutes that affect us.

Jerry,
So many times I have heard that our sector cares the most. We want our students to be Successful.

Patty Aronoff

Oscar,

New staff needs to have training in every aspect of the school. If we don't take a solid approach to their learning, we can innocently put our school at risk for providing misleading information.

Patty Aronoff

what makes the career school sector unique is the career services aspect. To enroll a student, watch them grow in the program and actually see them working in the industry they came to school for is the ultimate reward.

Besides going thru the regular new employee staff orientation, we also provide the new staff access to the admissions policies and procedures to be more accurate of what needs to be done at the department. Also, we suggest him/her to read the school catalog and enrollment document.

David,

It is part of the contract with the student. It is the binding document.

Patty Aronoff

Rita,
Yes, we must keep up with the regulations but in the long run, the success is there.

Patty Aronoff

mirtha,

You are providing them with a great start!
