I believe my knowledge is excellent on our school. I am a graduate myself and the parent of two who graduated from programs here.... I strive to get the student all the information and assistance they need to be sucessful.
I actually think it is pretty high. I am the kind of person that wants to know why...not just "that's how it is". I try hard to keep up on not just marketing but other departments. The more I know, the better I am prepared to help not only prospective students but the ones I already have enrolled. It is important not to forget about the ones in school and make sure that they are successful.
My institution changes daily. It is hard sometimes to stay abreast of all of the changes, but communication is key. I am able to discuss changes in detail with the key stakeholders and able to implement the changes almost immediately. I would rate myself at about 90%.
Mary,
It really sounds like your school is providing you with great tools to be a successful agent.
My Knowledge of my organization is very comprehensive as we are going thru an accreditation process right now and it requires an indepth look at the organization.
I would rate my knowledge of my institution very high! The communication at our campus among advisors and other departments is EXCELLENT! We always stay informed of changes and additions by weekly meetings. We not only have weekly admissions meetings, but we also have weekly admissions/financial aid meetings. This helps us stay on the same page with the financial aid department, as well. Also, we have monthly staff and faculty meetings. We are introduced to any new staff or faculty members. It's a great way to break the ice and put a name with a face. That way we can feel more confortable sitting down to discuss what exactly they do at the campus. This keeps me up to date, as well.
I would rate my knowledge as high with room to grow. Our school does a solid job at communicating expectations, rules, regulations, etc. We have a very structured admissions process and training.
Since I have been employed with my college for almost 23 years, I feel I have a very good understanding of the institution.
Weekly, I have meetings with my manager to discuss new information that is relative to my postion.
I rate my knowledge about my institution extremely high. This is spawned from excellent training, policies and procedures set forth by my institution, being an alumni member, and by sitting on a number of boards within the organization.
I would give myself an 8 out of 10 when rating my knowledge. I reguarly do things to enhance my self development, such as , attending classes my self, and shadowing other associates.
I rate my knowlege high because all information is documented, I have several conversations with department heads, and regular meetings and updates are held once a month to keep us informed.
My school does a very good job in keeping us informed. We have classes and get togethers relating to many aspects of our institution. I believe that the Mission statement we have clearly states our intentions. Our Core Values are also clearly stated. I always keep them in mind when speaking to students.
I rate my knowledge of my institution fairly high. I think my institution does a great job informing it's employees about new things as well as refreshing us on the old.
I believe I know a sufficient amount of information about our school and policies. Always looking to keep myself updated.
I've been here for 17 years and have a very good understanding of my school and it policies.
I admire your confidence, but there is always room for improvement and gaining a better understanding.
I thought it was very helpful that my Director helped us as a group to go over this very important infomration.
I would say high. We always try to keep up to date with any changes made within the school. We do this by having weekly admissions meetings and monthly staff meetings. Also, when each member of the admissions staff is hired they meet with each department and also sit in on classes for each program.
I rate my knowledge about my institution very high. We have weekly meetings with all the departments;staff and department heads included. We all give updates on our departments and anything new that needs implemented or changes to be made. Knowledge is power, the more everyone knows about what happens within the school, the easier it is to answer any questions that should arise.
I feel like I have extensive knowledge of the University that I work for. We have continual training on programs, policies and procedures, compliance and accreditation. There are always areas that everyone can improve but I would say, as a whole, my knowledge base is pretty well rounded.
