As the new Admissions Leader for a school i found this very helpful. I look forward to more education.
Creating a resource book that can be used by all admissions and administrative staff is important to staying in compliance with the state regulations.
I am Director of Ed. It is important for me to understand the processes that my students go through so I can monitor the school's compliance with that process. Also, understing this can allow me to step in if there is confusion or needed clarification.

As an owner of a new institution Is is extremely important that myself and staff understand all of the rules, state statutes and terminology of admitting students to an institution.
This course has been very helpful
This section has given me insight on a few topics that I may have overlooked if it werent for this course. Having a resource notebook will help me in organizing these details and will help me with the huge responsibility of enrolling students within our Institution.
I learn that I must familirize myself with the terms and definitions. I also learn that this module is not a one time learning activity. I must use this as a reference in all aspect of my job.
I am currently in process of opening a private institution and can say that the resource notebook was definetly a great suggestion and we do plan on doing that. also so far in the module i like that it gives direct links to the statues and administration code for easy printing.
I have learned that to become an effective Admission Director it is necessary to know not just the information about the institution you work for, but also, to be able to prepare other professionals in that field since the AD is respobable for institutional trainings.
I've learned how critical it is to use the correct terminology when communicating with prospective students, as well as what we can and cannot call ourselves in front of prospective students. What we do takes a great deal of time and training, and it's critical to keep alert and aware of any changes.
It is important to learn what is required by law on how to do the job right.
I have learned a lot of terminology and vital regulations/policies for this position.
The rules are clear and define the duties of the recruiting agent. The Agent must have a deep understanding of the institution and its medium-term plans.
I learned that is is necessary to have on going training in Admissions and complete the Admission Staff Training
I am new to the administrative director position at our school that my company is creating. In this module I learned the importance of keeping a "Resource Notebook" AND how to organize it. I learned that in order to do my job successfully I must be an "expert representative" for my prospective students, and their families. I learned that even though the class is taken one time, it is MY soul responsibility to make sure all the rules, compliance, and regulations are constantly up to date as they are ever changing. I will do this regularly by checking the websites on a monthly basis and look for changes.
Hello, this is my first position as an Admissions Representitive. I am learning the correct proceedure (FAC) and further explanations neccessary to communicate fully to each prospective student as they progress through the application process. As I have been going through the training of information in my institution's cataloge, this course further defines the steps and reasons for those steps. This acts as a way to further the process for understanding, which then intern aides with retaining the information given. Now when I am in front of a student, I will better institute the steps, and provide the right language so that the student is able to also understand.
I am a new admissions advisor and learned more about Title IV as it relates to accreditation and funding.
