Ed 103

I thought this course was good, especially for those that may be new to teaching. I would reccomend it to all new instructors.

ED103

I thought this course was particularly helpful in understanding the mechanics of individual learning styles.  It helped me to create a curriculum in which each student has the opportunity to do equally well regardless of their particular learning style and made for a better grade distribution.

ED102

I though this course was worth taking.  It provided me with some ideas and insights that I hadn't thought of before.  I believe that it will help me to increase student retention, which will be of benefit to myself as well as my student

ED 103

great course content!  Learned several good ideas, but quiz questions where more unclear than other courses.

101

The course was very informative and helpful. It was a great refresher for me to make sure I am using the information with my students.

Ed 107

I found this course has very good information that I can apply to my facilitating of students however I think this course should be split into 2 courses as the material seemed excessive compared to other courses.

ED101

This course was helpful and a solid review.

EL101

I liked El101. The games were entertaining and the quizzes were helpful.

ED102

I enjoyed ED102.  Alrhough I did not find it as interesting as ED101, I found myself to have learned very useful information that I will be able to aplply to my classes. I did not like the games, they were somewhat confusing, but I managed to complete each one successfully. l look forward to moving on to ED103.

Course

Helps me to learn more motivation with my students. The games were off, did not coordinate.

Course

Enjoyed the first class, but the games were kind of corny.

classroom management

I enjoyed the course.  It will help me better manage my classroom with the different types of students that I encounter.

Motivation

really enjoyed this particular course. It gave me more ideas on different instructional styles as well as methods. I also enjoyed the different ways of motivating the students with more professionalism. This course was outstanding to me.

Understanding Each Student

Each student enrolled in a class is different, and has different reasons for enrolling in school.  However, as the instructor it is important to keep in mind that students are our first priority and that we must show empathey, be caring about the students, and be very knowledgable about the subject matter.  Also, the insturctor must be excited about the course in order to get students excited and motivated.

ED 101

This course was helpful, for it confirmed the value of some teaching techniques I have already used, and showed me how to improve my organization and presentation.

ED102

This course was very helpful in indentifying ways to keep students engaged and motivated.  Making the content relevant and exciting creates enthusiasm and the students want to participate and get involved.

ED102 Motivation is key for student success.

I try to find a quality of myself in my students.  It is so important to remember how difficult it was for you before you set out to become accomplished in your chosen field.  How many times were you frustrated and felt like giving up?  Remember you could be that one person to change your student's life in a positive way.  You need to be empathetic, understanding, and knowledgeable about not only their triumphs, but their failures too.  Isn't that how we all learn?!? By making mistakes, we learn valuable life lessons that we can hopefully overcome our challenges and mentor others… >>>

ED310 Teaching Medical Terminology in Fun and Exciting Ways

I really enjoyed this course and have utilized a lot of the activities.  My students under the age of 21 really enjoyed the word search and crossword puzzles.  With my adult learners, tonight I am going to employ the Mystery Weekly Term.  I found the instruction to be easy and fun.  The computer software also worked well.  I also received suggestions from other online users which was valuable to me as an instructor.  The tutorials are great too.  I did the one on listening skills and picked up some valuable ideas.

ED310: Medical Terminology in Fun & Exciting Ways

I really enjoyed this course.  I especially liked the activities called "Secret Identity", "Charades," and Baseball."  It is activities like these that help make learning fun and keep everyone engaged in the subject matter.  Sometimes a medical terminology class can be a little dry.  By implementing these new activities, I am surely excited to see the results.  I can't wait to begin and see the students' reactions and feedback.

ED104 Laughed out loud, truely enjoyed it!

I did not think I would enjoy this online course, but I found as I read on, an eagerness to get back to the classroom to put my students in each of the categories presented.  I have been teaching for a long time and much of what was discussed I already use and apply, but I now have more angles and assurance that I am doing the right thing.

Today I evaluated each student and we set goals in small and large steps so I am anxious to put this to test.
