The admission process is a legal exercise which is critical to the functioning of the institution. It is important that employees have knowledge of the admission process at the institution

It is very important to mention that every institution must keep track of the files of each potential student. In this sense, the applicant's forms must be counted, which must have all the student's information and must be clarified at the beginning. about your rights and responsibilities, terms and conditions, everything related to the payment of tuition and fees, and repayment of loans if any.

The CIE is an entity whose purpose is that all admission agents guarantee or provide future students with clear and precise information about the admission process in the institutions.

At the same time, it provides precise information on the regulations that should be considered in advertising in this case if it meets the requirements of the Florida Independent Education Commission, as well as the guidelines of its accrediting agency.

How often do you update your resource notebook? 

During this session is apparent how important it is to establish a training system to educate all employees in the different departments,  positions and how to create a culture of compliance to ensure everyone is doing the right thing. In order to provide the information and services offer to any potencial students, admissions reps must make sure that the applicants clearly understand their program of interest, and all relevant details information related to it so they can make an inform decision based in facts and potencial employment opportunities based data from official sites such as the US Labor Department, but always be transparent and never guarantee employment.

Understanding and adhering to the regulations, policies and procedures establish by the Institution on its catalog is required by all employees and management, not a choice.

Accrediting Agencies and other regulatory entities ensure and oversight all the institutions they acredite along with the states licensing bodies for schools to maintain institution control and stay in compliance at all times. 

I have gained more knowledge on the statutes and state regulations for independent institutions in the state of Florida. 

I learned more about the admissions process and i got the skills to support and help my students! thanks!

I have clear my doubts

It is inportant to take state license if your are taking online classes?

I make sure each student has access to the catalog prior to meeting in person. 

None for now!

I like to know if any insitutions have been fined or reported for false advertisement?

My intention is to complete an electronic resources document to include the Organization chart, and links such as my institutions catalog and handbook to refer to as well as the links provided to by CIE and other pertinent informaiton in order to meet the learning objectives for this course.
