What I found interesting is the concept of conflict as a positive. I believe this is true - in both a consistent and capricious way. Conflict is, indeed, the crucible from which we grow - if it's handled correctly. Othwrw2, it is the seed if chaos, which has no place in learning. Order is the soul of education.

To my surprise, what I found most useful is the instruction on allowing and or facilitating small talk during online courses and discussions. I have a tendency to be 'all business' when it comes to teaching, and this has helped me understand it's good to relax. Thank you.

What I found especially useful and helpful is the instructions on posting a short biography. I think it is a good idea to highlight one's interests and background so that students can identify with my goals and training as an educator. Teaching is a human endeavor. It's good to make your process as an instructor accessible.
