building honest relationships with students and showing you are human builds strong community in the classroom and helps to motivate student learners.

Remembering that its okay not to be prefect but to push forward with our students to develop their personal grit is very important to keep students involved in the class and to create a sense of empowerment.

Setting up the classroom so all students feel value and a sense of connection so they will be engaged is very important. Teacher must focus on opening the class up to reach all student learners where they are.

I think shoeing students real life connections to work place gives them more buy in to the classroom to create a stronger environment for success.

I have added more gamification to my course this year using Blooket and I was amazed how much more of the terminology my students retained at the end of the course and they wanted to do it.

See this technology as a way to give extra help to students not as a way to replace teachers as students need to be able to discuss what theyar elearning to fully process and that will not always work with technology.

I like the idea of build agency and focusing more on the process than the outcome to build students up so they take ownership.

Reply to Ella Davis's post: I like the way you word this thats what I was thinking as well.

I need to be more delibrate when planning my lessons to focus on small group movement. I feel this will improve my lessons flow and help student better process new material.

I like the idea of having the students talk more about what they are learning as a means of assessment because it will make them more engaged in their learning .
