I liked the saying, "Like any "customer," students appreciate being able to make choices and decisions based on facts." A good student will respect a school whose employees share facts that enable them to make informed decisions. By the instructors and staff all being informed of the schools facts that can be demonstrated to the students will help reinforce a good atmosphere, so the students will be happy while enrolled and grades and attendance will also be up. Good Possitive Reinforcements.

Schools must make the necessary corrections to become approved by the state and accrediting agencies in order to receive Title IV funding.

A school should demonstrate a program certification that will one help with the enrollment numbers within a school and also in graduating students which will represent the college after graduation. This experience will also help the college in positive feed back from the graduating students and keep new students enrolling.

Why are some instructors very good lecturing? They have the ability to be strong story tellers. This helps keep the students attention, and the instructor will relate the material being studied to an event or story that has taken place in the instructors life. This helps with attention of the students and retention because of the content being expressed in story mode.

Why is an overview and requirements very important on the first day of class? The overview will give the instructor a short overview of the course which can be used as a guide when lecturing and help the student in seeing what material will be covered during the course. In addition, an overview will help with discussion of the course goals and objectives, help define your expectations for the students participation, and it serves as a basis for evaluation in the course.

Why is developing a syllabus so important/ I think a syllabus develops the a climate for the class, give the course organization and structure. It serves as a guide or outline for the instructor and conveys a sense of excitement about the course. The students can look at the syllabus and it gives them a brief discription about what is going to be covered in the course.

I like the idea of striving to be a professional in your dress, conduct, handling of the students and different situation. How do you project professionalism? Reguardless of the situation always knowing you are the model, manager and motivator helps in projecting your professionalism.
