I agree. Some people are truly desperate to make a change in their lives for the better, some rearange their current work chedules and lives or even quit their job just to be a ble to attend school.It's important we inform them of all the criteria and expectations so that they make the best educated choice.

Marketing and Social Media

I was not aware of the extra steps and responsibility being applied to our marketing tactics until now. I am glad that we do not post or advertise in unemployment offices or sections of the newspaper due to vulnerability. I think this again shows integrity and personal responsibilty. Using social media is a great way to stay conncted and involved with students and graduates as long as its done in a responsible and serious manner.

How do you break the ice when meeting a potential student?

I feel that a good way to break the ice is to start off with a nice friendly hello and a firm handshake. Its also important to be thorough and honest about the information they ask for. If the student feels that you are not being upfront and honest the trust will not be there and that can become and obstacle with the enrollment.

better understanding of regulations and why they are necessary

Although I was already familiar with our rules and regulations this site and its course outline has made it more clear and has given me better understanding of rules and procedures. I feel more confident and reassured with the information provided to me throughout the training.
