Cecilia, The mission statement sums up your college's direction and outlines goals for what you and your management team hope to accomplish, both in academics and the industry you serve. This statement may span a short paragraph or several of them and give a clear objective for why you do what you do. Just as you want to establish your direction as educational institution, it is equally important to establish it for the public. Employers, industry partners, media professionals, students and more should all be able to read your mission statement and understand your direction as a college and why… >>>

Ailyn, Thank you for this critical reminder. In order for you as a financial aid administrator to access a students records there must be an established relationship, i.e. enrollment agreement, signed disclosures and so on. Cindy Bryant

Nancy, Great point! Many students fail to come forward because of their fear of retaliation. There has to be a way to insure that the students are taken care of. Cindy Bryant

Daniel, When students disappear you would think that there would be an agency that you could report the student to, but there isn't. There is no law that mandates that an adult must go to school or finish school therefore the burden of the student completion lies between the student and the school. This is why we see so many pizza parties. Cindy Bryant
