First impressions are lasting impressions. When students experience their instructors as knowledgeable and caring it helps to put them at ease.
I believe making a positive first impression is important because this is how the students will picture you for the remainder of the class and will set a starting point of how you are percieved by the students
First Impression is very important when starting a new class because, it dictates the standards of the Instructors requirements and expectations.
this is important becasue the students donot know you . you need to have a strong positive first impressions to gain and keep their respect.

If you follow the guidlines listed in this module you will also put them at ease becuase you will cover thier concerns and fears.
