
I think that it is important to have a stress free life because stress can be detrimental to our health. We must have some kind of plan in place to help us cope with daily stress. Stress can be a factor in every area of our lives so therefore we must take control of stress before it take control of us.

I found a way to commute to work and relieve stress at the same time. I leave for work early and ride my motorcycle on back roads. Cruising down a two lane early in the A.M. on my Harley, with nothing but the wind and roar of the engine. The stress is gone.

These past few weeks have been very busy for me. I had to travel to Miami for four days for my PhD classes, then the week after that I had a conference in Washington. That led to this past weekend. I had a backpacking trip planned for months, but I decided to cancel it. Even though the backpacking trip was just for fun, I really needed some time to just sit back and relax.
