I would spend more time with my family and my friends. Be invovled with my church more and become more physically fit.
I think that I definitely need to stop all my unhealthy habits related to stress, I drink too much coffee and tend to eat, I will change those habits with exercises, running in the mornings will help and in the evenings I will practice martial arts again. I use to practice martial arts and it’s just like therapy, it help me a lot with my stress.
I already try to walk on a relatively regular basis. I know that if I get better about scheduling that exercise in it will help me cope with the stress. I recently got a puppy, and walking with him is a great way to reduce stress.
I also need to try to remember to breathe. I am very guilty of not breathing properly when I get stressed.
It's great that you've found a method that works so well for you Joe!
Thanks for the recommendation Jerry! Cycling is a great stress reduction activity and lots of fun. I agree with your assessment.
I am a huge cyclist. Cycling helps me relieve stress in many ways. I get into a "Zen-like" state while riding and everything around me evaporates and all I am concentating on the me, my bike, and the road ahead. I know cycling isn't for everyone, but I strongly encourage you to give it a try. Even better with a few friends when you are not trying to win the Tour de France(riding to better your times for a certain distance).
I continue to strengthen my belief in the Lord Jesus Christ. I hand all my stress over to the Lord. He helps keep me calm under pressure and this allows me to refocus and accomplish my mission. The best coping mechanism is PRAYER!
I want to start exercising more and find a healthy balance between my work life and my personal life.
For me it is trying to be more active and eat heathier. So many times I'm on the run and just grab food to go and on my days off want to lay around and watch TV.
I am glad you are starting to see the relationships between modules Nancy.
I will exercise more frequently and practice the breathing technique.
This module is a good reminder of how to cope with stress. I know I should take time during the day to exercise, breathe and stretch but finding the time to do it is so diffucult. That takes me back to the time management in the first module. Interesting to see how they are so related. I need to start finding a way to organize my time better so I can find time to cope with the stress.
Those are excellent coping mechanisms Tracy. I'm glad they are working for you. There are many more to explore as well if you get board.
This is true, changing your perspective and taking an alternative point of view can be highly effective.
I find that many times when I am unable to eliminate a stressor in my life, when I look at it with a defferent perspective, I am able to deal much better. Sometimes this involves changing my own attitude towards it. As soon as I realize that I cannot remove this stressor, I begin to look for ways to incorporate it into my life with the least stress possible for me.
I can't reduce or eliminate every stressor in my life. However I have learned some healthy coping mechanisms in this module. First I should schedule in some regular daily excercise into my routine. I enjoy taking classes in Yoga and Tai Chi, which can help me to breathe better and stay focuse.

Sounds like two great approaches Patrice! Let us know how they work for you.
This is all true Abunido. Experience is perhaps the best teacher when it comes to dealing with stress and setting our own expectations.
