I have learned from this module that revisions to the course should occur and gathering multiple pieces of evidence and from multiple stakeholders is key in driving change for the course.  Student feedback and evaluations tell one part; pre- and post-tests inform more; teacher evaluations and comparing feedback from other professionals in the field provide yet another piece to consider when revising course all under the guidelines and requirements from the college itself.

There is not one type of tool for a course evalution. I now want a peer to evalute my course and give me feedback.

Everybody gets graded - the student, the teacher, the course, the school... Each affects the others, and gets assessed by more than one source of evaluation and feedback.

I learned that it is very important to evaluate all aspects of the course.

Using multiple forms of feedback is key in evaluating your course.

I was reminded of the importance of compiling multiple data sources in order to continuously review/evaluate my on-line class.

I plan to utilize both my advisory council in Career Tech and student and administrator evaluations for making changes in my class.

I learned that there are other ways of evaluating your course. I knew about student evaluations and having a peer evaluations, but did not know about the concept maps,

Multiple evaluation methods is what is needed to properly evaluate students overall.  Closing the loop using a variety of evaluation methods for courses will allow an instructor to revise the course to make it better for all.

I learned that no one evaluation/ assessment tool will allow you to close the loop in evaluating and revising your on-line course. It will take multiple tools from multiple stakeholders to provide feedback that you will need to make continuous changes that improve the course.

In this module I learned how to author a course through evaluation, how to deliver instruction, how to create an assessment plan using rubrics.  I will use these strategies when setting up the course and considering the beginning and the end of my course.

It's important to always keep improving and remaining open to change and criticism

Being evaluated multiple times helps with adjusting to many different ways students learn. There is always room for improvement and never one way of learning.

Getting feedback on your course from multiple avenues is important to continuous improvement.

Evaluation is important to close the loop and connect back to improving and revising your online course.

Students evalutions are of importance because they do have a different perspective.

I like the idea of peer evaluation because this is a fellow teacher and sometimes the best help.

student feedback is one tool to use but feedback from stakeholders is also necessary

Use evaluations from multiple sources to evaluate how to improve the class.

Course evaluation is essential in an online course because you should always be growing and improving your online content. This unit taught me that it is important to include the feedback from multiple stakeholders when evaluating the course, not just your own personal thoughts or those of the students.

It is important that your course remain fluid and ever-changing to always imporve. You should not base those changes solely on student feedback, but also include stakeholders in the process of creating and revising.
