Orchestration in continually developing new material and adapting learning material with each data gathered from previous classes is very critical to continuing success and experience for the student.

you have to take alot into mind when trasefering f2f to onlien coures

Keeping students engaged during certain topics is incredibly hard F2F and even harder online. Through different types of engagememt tools and change ups I can help direct and keep them on topic.

The information concerning delivery methods, how to modify course contents I found most useful.

Its important not to simply use the same teaching style that you would for in person classroom. Teachers have to adapt to the new normal to ensure that the classes remain effective for the student learning experience. Teachers have to go an extra step in communication and ensure that the students understand the lessons at hand.

It is very important to be prepared and set things up in time to provide students with ample time to complete work so they will not feel rushed and overwhelmed.

I learned how important it is to communicate clearly the content to the students to promote participation and engaging.

I am beginning to see a need to separate each activity, assignment and assessment to reflect on ftines to goal but then integrate to enhance engagement

Being consistant in the layout of the course should follow along with the syllabus .

Have easy navigation and easy acces to materials need, enen if it has to be repeated again for diffrent assignments.

Course also have to engauge student but should not be to long as to pujt the student to sleep in a long drawn out lecture.

Goals should be short and easy to understand.

Students really rely on consistency and having your content organized in an LMS in a manner they can understand logcially is important.

The biggest takeaway I got from this module is when preparing materials, keep in mind that an instructor doesn't need to reinvent the wheel.  This is a big deal for me as I get ideas and often can get carried away with wanting to do new things and change things.

I see how in a lot of these modules it mentions that courses/instruction/lessons should be short. I get that. I see how in some instances that there might just be a need for guiding to the next task with some explanation. However, there are many times where I found that this just isn't enough time. I think that the material and student need should dictate the time spent, not an arbitrary number.

Organizing your course content helps keep the student organized as well, it makes it easier to find the materials they need. It will also make editing and updating content easier. Use a variety of teaching tool such as Youtube videos. Routinely use course announcements to keep the students informed.

Module organization of course content provides consistency for the students and enhances the learning process.

I have learned that consistency is key to student learning. By keeping modules similarly organized, students will have less questions and technical errors.

F2F is very different from online learning. I liked the idea of having to lecture, videos, exercises throughtout the course so as to keep it interesting.

I plan to use the Stop, Start, Continue concept I learned in this course.  What do students wish instructor would stop doing, start doing and continue doing?  It is suggested that instructor obtain this feedback via anonymous blog but, once you know your students well, I believe this could take place in a somewhat public format.

Think about the four O's of course design. Origin, Organization, Orchestration and Outcomes assessment.

In this section the main takeaway was the four O's. Also, student engagement tips were very useful.

My main take-away is the need for order and consistency.  Applying best practices of technical writing could be beneficial, especially testing your own instructions for clarity, unnecessary words, and consistency.
