The notebook is a constant reminder of what the state requires to maintain compliance. It is my resource for any information that I need. It's great to keep at my fingertips so that the book can remember everything for me to reference at any time.
Ronald,
It's your personal assistant for all things compliant. The resource notebook will continue to grow with you in your knowledge and processes.
Patty Aronoff
Emily,
It's a great tool to have! The resource notebook gives you a firm foundation from which all great things happen.

The resource notebook is a valuable tool. It will contain all relevant information to my institution and Statutes for my reference.
The Resource book has become very valuable to our office. We refer back this very often. Especially when new employees join our team or we are implementing a new plan.
Renee,
It is a great resource to have at your fingertips. It provides you the materials that you need when you need them.
Patty Aronoff
The Resource Notebook is a great tool for all admissions professionals.
Jesus,
Great! We're both on the same track. As you build your notebook fill it according to your specifications as you will be the primary user.
Patty Aronoff
Lany,
Once you build it, you will find that it is a valuable resource. The matter where you work within the school it enhances your ability to become compliant.
Patty Aronoff
Oralia,
One of the best resources a school can provide students is the one with community. There are many needs an attending school so connecting that student to the community at large assists them greatly.
Patty Aronoff
Reinalda,
Great! Continue to build your notebook and add additional materials to enhance its value.

I actually am new and have not yet started a Resource Notebook, but I definitely like the idea. I was actually thinking about putting together something like this. I already have some paperwork with the breakdowns of certain programs at this school which seem very helpful. In particular, I'd definitely like to see what marketing plans this school has.
I admit, I didn't realize that as a representative I would have to know just about everything about the school. I was already planning on knowing as much as possible, so I can see how this would be beneficial.
This will be a great tool for those that are new to the institution, or changing departments that now would like to have or need to have additional information on hand. It would be a smart tool to utilize across the institution not just in admissions/enrollment/finance.
I added two new programs that will be starting next year.
I did not know that the school can assist the students by referring them to a real state agent to help them in finding housing near the school.
I have printed supplemental charts that were provided throughout; and am pleased the detailed structure of the process.
Kim,
There's also a comfort by the student when they see the notebook in front of them and you are providing them information from the resource other than just talk. They see that you have taken the time to look it up and read from a guiding document.
Patty Aronoff
Yassmin,
The catalog is your guiding factor for your school. It combines the CIE rules with your schools processes. It also accompanies the enrollment agreement as the contract with the student.
Patty Aronoff
Nida,
I would agree! I believe that it's the first task we should do as an admissions representative to build it and then continually refine it.
Patty Aronoff
Derrick,
It is a great office assistant. Just even opening the notebook in coming through will revisit much of the information you have already learned. The process of updating it is also an opportunity for learning.
Patty Aronoff
Margaret,
That is great news! The resource notebook is tool that never leaves your side. It provides you assistance and renewal.
