How can you or did you organize all the paperwork and information related to completing the admissions process according to Commission guidelines?
Kevan,
Another suggestion would be a contact listing of who to call on different subject matters, such as financial aid or the director of education.
I put them in a binder with a table of content and tabs. The checklist keeps me on task to making sure nothing is skipped over and the student receives all the proper information needed for their success.
Lorena,
The binder is a great way to keep your information right at your fingertips. Be sure to keep it up-to-date.
I will create a binder with all the files information and papework with tabs.
James,
Excellent! Don't forget to add the advertising slicks which your prospective students are seeing.
We have a binder that holds all the necessary paperwork required for the admissions process...when meeting with prospective student along with buying committee folders/packets are already prepared.
Jefferson,
That is a good way to make sure everything is in order and all paperwork is completed.
We utilize a folder that holds all necessary documents in a prescribed order that allows for an efficent flow of paperwork that closely follows the order of information presented during the interview.
Stacy,
I would also include your catalog and any other institutional policies. A section for Florida statutes and rules as well as accreditation information will be helpful.
Organized by programs offered
I am presently compiling two notebooks. One contains all information provided in this course, the other contains all information provided by my institution. At some point I may collate both, but wish to complete training before I make a decision about that.
Nina,
Having the electronic tools to get you the information you need quickly can be a lifesaver! Great suggestion to those using Outlook.
Using outlook to organize informational updates is a great idea!
Cheree,
Having the information right at hand is important for not only you but your clients.
Georgia,
Very good idea. Make sure that you update all formats when information changes!
Nina,
Great idea! Having it both ways is important in case of connectivity issues. Also, some clients like to see it in print.
The Resource Notebook is an excellent way to orgamize your paperwork. It is an excellent opportunity to keep this critical information organized and accessable in case of an absence or questions that may arise. The Resource Notebook is a wonderful resource and should be accessable to ensure accurate information is handy.
We have all of our documents saved electronically and also on cd-rom. We also have printed copies and have them filed in our school office. It is important to document everything correctly and to keep that information safe.
In a binder, with dividers. I like to keep the laws and rules in the same binder. I also like to have access to both online - it's easier to access, when working on the computer.
