We are a medical career institute. The students learn about the jobs and the responsibilities involved during an informations session/presentation. We like to have them imagine themselves in the environment performing the responsiblities while we give detailed descriptions of each.

There are many programs offered at my school such as, PN, ASN, BSN, BRIDGE TO RN, PTA, RAD TECH, HIM and many more.

We offer IT, ET and Nursing. I will learn by getting all information nessesary from my Career Service Dept

The best way to learn the programs is to sit in the class and see how the students and the instructor interact. This way you can help your prospect. Also, I graduated from my institucion and this help me alot because now I have the experiences as an employee and student too.

Our students will be training to be Chefs or Bakers, we also have an externship program which also gives you an idea of where they can start in thier new career.

We offer Culinary arts and Patisserie & Baking in both Certificate or Associates programs. We also offer over a dozen of amateur courses.

Due to the specific nature of what we train and also the small class sizes, all of our instructors are part of admissions process. This can be a big advantage since our admissions staff is entirely technical and have worked in the related industry for many years prior to joining our school.

Our school offer:
AS - Pharmacy
BS - Nursing, Education, Management, Criminal Justice, Health Services Management, Accounting, Psicology
Master - Criminal Justice, Finance, Accounting, Guidance & Counseling, ESOL

In our institution there are different programs that has updates every year. We provide resources to the student and how to be more updates with the type of the field they want to be. For example a student who wants to be in the medical field as a Health Management Administration. The student has to know the job descriptions, field they want to complete and the courses they want to take. We have to guide them in order for them they have a good understanding of the program.

LUZ,

Your school provides many opportunities in several areas. Admissions representatives will need to know in detail each program.

I am very lucky in this regard. We have one major program and everything else falls underneath its umbrella which is cosmetology. Most students can end up working as a stylist in a salon setting or an owner themselves. I visit salons and other related settings to become more familiar with the field.

Dana,

Continue to learn more about your programs as product knowledge is key. Try sitting in on classes and talking with students.

Danielle,

Very exciting! You will want to add the Florida Board of Nursing to your notebook as they also regulate your nursing program.

We are a liberal arts college. A lot of our student are non traditional and our programs are very specific as to who can enter. I have meet with all division chairs and created notes on each degree with key highlight features. I have also presented degree programs in training to my boss to learn the different program requirements.

There are 4 schools of study offered at my institution. There is a school of information technology, electronic technology, drafting and design, and nursing. All of the programs currently offered at my institution are associates degrees.

Jessica,

You are off to a great start! Keep on learning and tap into the many resources available to you on campus.

We offer undergraduate degrees as well as graduate degrees in a number of different disciplines. We also have Non degree Programs as well as certificates. Admissions Representatives are supposed to be knowledgeable in all the requirements for the different programs to give the prospect the best information necessary to make an informed decision. I sometimes go on the website for labor and statistics to find out potential information about jobs and " possible " and I learn about possible salaries and other relevant information to which I direct the students. There are different resources about the their potential jobs and the information.
