Patty Aronoff

Being active in searching for career opportunities in these fields keeps us active within the community.

Patty Aronoff

Amy,
Interesting! I applaud your continued efforts to show the student why this type of degree is important.

Patty Aronoff

Lindsey,
You have a large program offering and will need to know each program.

Patty Aronoff

Angela,
Your school should have many technology connections in the community at-large.

We offer Basic Massage Therapy, Advanced Massage Therapy as well as AS Degrees in Advanced Massage and Therapeutic Massage & Skin Care. We also have diploma programs for Basic Skin Care, Skin Care & Electrology and Adv. Paramedical Skin Care and another AS Degree program in Adv Paramedical Skin Care.

In order to learn all about these different programs, I have spent time in the classrooms speaking with the instructors and students, asking questions as though I am a potential student. I also had some of our services done on me so I would know first hand what it is like to receive one. I sat with instructors, program & course directors as well as my coworkers and I read outside materials that came from my personal research. One final thing I did was spend time with professionals who are already in the field and asked them questions and for advice, which was very beneficial.

The programs offered at our institution are: Home Health Aide, Phlebotomy Technician, Patient Care Technician, Hemodialysis Technician, Medical Assistant, Medical Coder/Biling, and Pharmacy Technician.
In order to learn about the jobs students train for I think constant communication with the instructors is very important. We are constantly looking for new job postings. Look at the requirements and compare that to the training we offer here. Also look for volunteering opportunities, which is a great way to learn and gather experience.

Programs offered at my institution are Bachelor Completion, Masters, and DBA. All of these degrees are in Quality Systems Management, and since quality systems can be used in every industry it becomes difficult to know what every student is training for. As an admissions coordinator I always consult with prospective students on what industries and roles they are in at their jobs and then explain how our degree programs would add value to their occupations. Or on the other hand I can explain how this degree could help them enter the industry they want to pursue a career in. I learn by talking with students, faculty and peers at the institution.

My school offers Nursing, Business Adminstration, Cosmetology, Culinary, Health Services Management, Medical Assistant, Medical Billing and Coding, Healthcare Reimburshment, Medical Office Management, Network Engineering, Network Management, Pharmacy Technician, Surgical Technology.

I am learning more about the programs everyday by reading the Catalog and speaking with the Program Directors from each program. I want to be able to sit in some of the classes and speak with the instructors.

The school that I work for offers SQL Microsoft training. The type of jobs that students train for is being a computer programmer.

Patty, those recommendations are great as they will be discussed in our weekly meetings. Thank you.

Eileen ,
That is a great goal. Schools must publish their pass rate for certification exams.

Patty Aronoff

Miriam,
With program such as these, connections to the community are a valuable resource. Events such as guest speakers and field trips can enhance the student experience.

Patty Aronoff

susan,
It is great that you are experiencing your school through the services. It gives you a new perspective.

Patty Aronoff

Cora,
Career Services should provide placement services and start working with the students from the beginning of their student experience.

Patty Aronoff

Cora,
Confidence comes with knowledge and strength. We should constantly be learning about our school and what it offers.

We offer Practical Nursing, Nursing Assistant, Phlebotomy. Our goal is to provide highest standard of education to receive 100% passing on the NCLEX examination

Our Institute offers two diploma programs in the areas of Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship. Our SBM program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills useful in various types of business organizations. Our Entrepreneurship program provides students with the knowledge and skills to develop their own businesses. Although these skills in the EN Program can be used in many business environments, this program is designed for those seeking to set up their own business, not for those individuals who plan to seek employment. Methods of learning derive from the course(s) syllabus, information from professor(s) teaching the subjects and understanding some of the materials offered to students.
