We offer Cosmetology,Barber,Massage Therapy, and Nail Tech programs. I have made myself a very detailed booklet on every program and what is required, the hours, the cost, the whole nine yards. Also, I meet weekly with our instructors and review the weekly calender that way I am up to speed on exactly what the students are learning that week. That way, when I am giving someone information on that program I can use examples on exactly where the class is at in their training.

Our institution strictly focuses on nursing education. Each course is designed to prepare the student for a career in nursing alone, and the curriculum directly correlates with the requirements necessary to be a successful nurse. No fillers, no unnecessary prereq's. Just nursing. We have had the opportunity to take tours of the facility and classrooms, and have had the privilege to speak with faculty on what it's like to be in the programs, and what it takes to be successful. There are many outlets in which perspective students can gain an insight on what it will be like to become a nurse at this institution

At our school we offer nursing, ET,IT, and business.

Career Placement, sitting in on classes, as well as using the materials supplied by our school.

Thank you, Doug

Our school offers Vocational classes in Home Health Aide, Nursing Assistant, Phlebotomy and Electrocardiograh Aide as well as continuing education courses for healthcare professionals and community and workplace healthcare courses for non professionals. I stay in touch with the industry as a whole and keep abreast of any changes in employment requirements in the healthcare field. While the placement services at our institution are not well defined we do our best to assist our students by offering information about employment agencies and job openings in our tri-county area.

Our school offeres HHA, NA, and PN programs. To learn more about jobs students train for I will ask faculty members and other instution representatives. I will also take the time to research the internet and read about each of the diffrent professions.

Our school offers diploma and AS Degree programs. I have learned about the jobs students train for from my orientation with our Career Services Director. I sat with her and went through each program and the potential careers that students could expect to obtain after graduation.

Our school has a very wide varity of programs available; examples include: Digital Graphic Art, Criminal Justice, Pharmacy Tech, HVAC, Cosmetology, Medical Assisting, and Computer and Network Administration just to name a few. I believe the two most important ways to learn about the jobs students train for are first, know the program inside and out. Secondly, get out there speak to those in the various fields and discover the differences between the academic and the reality, this includes speaking to some of your graduates for their opinions as well.

My institution has distinguished itself as a Technological University. In recent years we have also focused on the area of health, 5 years ago we Entered the world of fashion design, but in combination with technology. We bought a school of interior design to diversify Further our studies, without leaving behind the business administration degrees. We Also have master's degrees focused on the prevention and detection of fraud and expertise in information systems. Always focusing on the technology.

I get excited everyday discussing all of our programs to students, they vary from campus to campus but some of the most common are included below. We offer Cosmotology, Medical asssiting, Medical Billing & Coding, Dental assisting,Criminal Justice, Culinary Arts, and about twenty in all. I am a mature adult, many of the jobs I already am aware of in one way or another. I have gathered information from colleagues and our brochure and I have spoken with our Career services department on a regular basis to learn about the jobs students train for.
