Hello Patty:

In answer to your questions -- the school offers a broad range of educational courses; Massage Therapy, Beauty Therapy, Cosmetology, Facial Skin Care and Nail Technology. I personally learn about jobs in which students train for, working close together with our Career Placement Service Director and school Agent. I keep myself busy and well informed with constant research and up-to-date information.

The programs are PTA, Practical Nursing, Professional Nursing, and LPN to Bridge program. I get additional information from the Program directors and instructors.

Our institution offers seven 7-month diploma issuing programs. We cover a wide range of industrial disciplines. We are the only institution that offers a program in the Import Export industry in all of South Florida. Many logistical companies transporting merchandise in and out of the United States has the operations located in Miami. Because of this many students already in the industry come to our school to receive the latest training in the logistical trade business.

We also offer 2 medical programs like; Medical Assistants and Medical Office Specialists. The retention rate for all the Career programs for 2011 were in the mid 80 percentage.

Our school offers the Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC). I will learn about the jobs our students train for by visiting child care centers in Florida and observing the teachers at work.

Massage Therapy and Facial Specialist II

All of our programs and details about our programs are listed in our catalog! As far as the jobs that the students are training for, our directors offer the admissions representatives 1 free service from any area of specialty every week, so that helps us understand in depth about what each student is learning and how they are effective in their training!

Myrian,

Excellent! Thank you for your post.

IA offers Cosmetology, Barber, Skin, Full Specialty, Nails, and Massage Therapy. I have learned about each of the programs by studying the course objectives and outlines.

We offer Cosmetology, Full Specialist, Nails, and Skin Care. I will learn about the jobs through my own research and speaking with the placement counselor.

Our School offers Diplomas in Skin Care and Massage Therapy. In addition they can also receive their AS in Massage or Paramedical Skin Care if they so desire.

I have been fortunate to learn about the jobs they will train for by receiving not only a massage in our clinic but also paramedical skin care services. I have met with every department and almost all the instructors to discuss the curriculum. In addition I have observed hands on participation in classroom settings.

Madeline,
Excellent approach. The program director should be well versed in all aspects of the program and provide you valuable insight.

Patty Aronoff

Belinda,
Alumni are a great way to keep in touch with the industry which your students are employed in. They should provide you with feedback at each meeting.
