We offer a certificate Cosmetology Program. We stay in close contact with our graduates through our Alumni Club and facebook group page. We are always posting job openings and educational opportunities as well as offering salon networking opportunities for our graduates.
Our school offers the certified nursing assistant and practical nurse. I will lerarn about the jobs the students are training for by personal experience and by researching in the workplace market.
The programs offered at my campus are as follows:
Computer & Network Administration - Associate of Science Degree
Criminal Justice - Associate of Science Degree
Criminal Justice - Bachelor of Science Degree
Medical Assisting - Diploma program
Medical Assisting w/X-Ray & EKG - Diploma program
Personal Fitness Training - Diploma program
Dental Assisting - Diploma program
Cosmetology - Diploma program
In addition to these degrees/diplomas offered, students also have the opportunity to earn numerous certifications, licenses, and certificates based on their program of study. The cost for the first attempt at taking these exams is already included in our tuition costs and our students are therefore highly encouraged to sit for these certification/licensing exams.
I learn about the jobs that students train for by speaking with Career Services, our many knowledgeable instructors, other campus administrators, and graduates (when I get the opportunity to do so).
Students can earn a Associate and Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, an Associate of Science degree in Computer & Network administration, and diplomas in Cosmetology, Medical Assisting, Personal Fitness Training, and Dental Assisting. Our diploma programs also offer various certifications & licenses that our students can test for. I learn about possible career opportunities by mainly speaking with the individuals in Career Services. In addition to that, speaking with the externship coordinator and current instructors who have had years of experience in the field gives me more insight into possible jobs.
We speak with career services and encourage prospective students to speak with them to learn more about program choices. We also have product knowledge classes to learn more about the programs offered. I would like to sit in on classes. The programs we offer are Computer Network Administration & Criminal Justice as our degreed programs. We offer Cosmetology, Personal Fitness Training, Dental Assisting, Medical Assisting & Medical Assisting with X-Ray& EKG as our diploma programs. Lorri Brown

We offer Computer Network Administration & Criminal Justice as our degreed programs. We offer Cosmetology, Personal Fitness Training, Dental Assisting, Medical Assisting & Medical Assisting with X-Ray& EKG as our diploma programs. I communicate regaularly with career services & our faculty to learn about the different jobs our students train for.
We offer an Associate Degree in Nursing program, Four Associate of Science Degree programs in Advanced Pharmacy Technician, Physical Therapy, Dietetics & Respiratory Care, Four Diploma Programs in Practical Nursing, Pharmacy Technician, Medical Assistant and Patient Care Assistant. In an effort to learn about the jobs I will arrange meetings some local clinics, pharmacies and doctors offices to speak with the people who are currently working in the field.
Absolutely! I encourage them to look at whats best for them to be able to complete their degree. At the end of the day its their education and I am there to help them through a tough process and knowing the options to present to them will make them successful happy students.
We offer both Cosmetology and Restricted Barber courses. These are both diploma courses. As part of the training we take the students on field trips to salons and barber shops where they spend time talking to salon owners and watching how the salons operate. Many times the salon owners will pick out certain students and tell them to get in touch when the graduate and so far we have a very high placement rate. We always take our students to a different salon each time so that they get plenty of exposure. It seems to work quite well.
Anessa,
Are your students encouraged to articulate into the online bachelor's program?
