leydis,
This is a best practice conducted by most schools in order to keep information flowing.

alessandra,
Excellent! Good communication is important in keeping everyone on the same page.
Patty Aronoff
Donna,
If you cannot attend in person, you can watch the webcast from the CIE website. The web link is posted under agenda information.
Patty Aronoff
Colleen,
Be sure to ask questions! Many staff sit in meetings wanting to ask a question but never do. Questions promote learning.
Patty Aronoff
Jessica,
Very exciting! Your enthusiasm shines through.

The Admissions team has weekly meetings to stay up-to-date on new policies. We also take annual exams to stay current on the topics in the education filed.
Weekly conference calls and meetings with the staff every now and then just to be on the same note.
We have weekly conference calls in which we keep each other updated on all the new policies
I am new to admissions and attend local meetings and meet with my supervisor. I plan to attend the commission meetings when offerred every 2 months.
I attend monthly admissions meetings as well as end of semester meetings. Our monthly meetings give us all a chance to communicate any changes or challenges our department is facing.
I'm recently new to the Education Field, so I have meetings with my Campus Director to go over any concerns or problems I am having in that particular week. Since there is another person in my dept. I get a lot of hands on training and help with anything that is needed. We also have weekly calls with all the campus location to go over how the week went. I find everything so imformative, that I really enjoy learning all the aspects that come with this job.
osniel,
That is certainly. Key factor...to be able to ask questions. Calls are more effective that way.
Patty Aronoff
alessandra,
Great! These are opportunities to share and learn growing together.
Patty Aronoff
Elizabeth,
Meetings can be very valuable providing much needed information to staff.
Patty Aronoff
Yannina,
Interesting. Meetings should be used to bring people together and share ideas.

We do a lot of conference calls throughout the week with Corporate and the rest of the campuses so everyone is updated and on the same page. It is very good for communication because we can ask any questions.
We have many conference calls and also meetings with the Director and Front Office Staff in order to keep each other updated with everything going on.
We have weekly management meetings, monthly department meetings and regular committee meetings. While it may seem like overkill, I almost always leave the meeting with a valuable piece of information I may have otherwise missed. I've found these meetings to be a wonderful resource.
Meetings are indispensable when you don't want to do anything.
The least productive people are usually the ones who are most in favor of holding meetings.
