Most do not ask about refund policies, but more about how many classes and credit hours, etc.
I don't have many students ask questions because I go over each sheet of paper they sign in detail.
Not typically. We cover each section of the enrollment agreement and it seems like the student understands the sections as explained and we give them their copy and tell them to call us with any additional questions. We occasionally get calls a day or 2 later when they have had a chance to read the whole document.
It is our University's policy to discuss the Enrollment Agreement at the beginning of the Admissions process. I like this because I feel students need to know exactly what tuition and fees they will be assessed up front so they can prepare for them, and then revert their attention to the most important aspect of edcuation which is learning.
not really because once I go over the enrollment agreement with them a majority of their questions are answered.
WELL SOME PEOPLE ARE VERY CONCERNED ABOUT WHAT THEY ARE SIGNING, SO IT IS IMORTANT TO LET THEM KNOW WHAT IS ON THE ENROLLMENT PAPER WORK BEFORE THEY SIGN.
When an applicant sits down with admissions there are generally a lot of questions regarding our institutions policies, procedures, and programs. We make sure we answer each question/concern completely so the applicant feels comfortable and informed.
A very common question is regarding the refund policy of our institution. I answer their question to the best of my ability, but because I am not in the financial aid office I do not know all of the intricate details of reimbursement. Occasionally I have to bring one of our financial aid representatives into the initial interview to assist with answering their questions so it is complete, accurate, and the applicant fully understands.
When it is time for the applicant to sign the enrollment agreement there, generally, are not many questions because they are familiar with everything that is on the enrollment agreement. I always go over the agreement line-by-line and ask if they have questions BEFORE I ask for their signature.
Yes. There are questions asked about financial obligations. Having the enrollment agreement provideds a step by step list of discussion.
Yes, they ask many questions
Yes. I get a majority of students who ask about refund policies
