i would rate high as well but as things change we need to keep up with current info
In my opinion, I am very knowledgeable of the school policies, procedures and educational programs, but I am always interested in learning the new ideas from my colleagues who have so much knowledge and professional experiences.
My college utilizes training books that require new employees to go around the school and introduce themselves to department chairs, advisors, and other support staff members.
I am able to learn in more detail about the programs offered here as well as feel more comfortable when asking questions to these individuals.
I think I am quite knowledgable, however I also know that with every day comes a new situation that I can learn even more from. I enjoy knowing this information because knowledge is power.
Being a long-term employee of our Truck Driving Academy, I feel I am very knowledgeable of the school and industry. I also keep myself open to learning new ideas and different departments, so that I know how the whole school operates. You can teach an old dog new tricks, as long as they are agreeable!
I actually just started at my institution and I would rate my knowledge pretty high. There is still more to learn.
I am new to this institution but I feel very confident in the programs we offer and am excited to learn more details.
I've been here for 9 years and I feel that I am very knowledgable about my institution and changes that occur. There is always great communication and I am always informed if anything would change.
I rate my knowledge about my instituion as expert in the area of instruction expert in the chain of command and offered programs. Exceptional (according to Ohio standard) in area of enrollment, marketing, and career sources.
I rate my knowledge about my institution as exceptional. I feel as though even if I am unsure of an answer I have enough resources available to me to find the answers and that in itself makes me feel empowered.
Knowledge is the key. Our training is extensive and ongoing with monthly quizes and weekly training sessions.
I rate my knowledge about my institution as high. During the typical 9 month high school year, I am in classrooms all over the state of Ohio presenting, pretty much on a daily basis. In addition to that, during the summer months I work as an admissions assistant and set up tours for prospective students.
My school has provided me with a wealth of information to work with for these two positions. Being accurate in disclosing info is of the utmost importance. Luckily, my school is small, which makes it easier to digest new info and to know most everyone on campus. We also have long term employees. I have been at this school 5 years.
I would rate my knowledge about my institution extremely high. Before my current position, I worked as an Adjunct Instuctor for over two years. Doing that time I also served on the advisory board and interview committee.
I would give myself the highest rating about knowledge of my school. Being in Admissions, I feel it is a necessity to do my job prpoerly. I can not accurately help prospective students, if i don't have the updated knowledge about my school.
Extremely high. I have been with my school for almost fifteen years.
As the market place changes so does the necessity to stay informed. I am constantly reading, asking questions, checking in with instructors, grad counselors etc. to make sure my knowledge as well as their knowledge is current. Staying ahead of the curve - of what is expected in the workplace - is the best was we can serve our students. This is what will ensure their success.
I would rate my knowledge of the education field on the whole very high. However, I am just starting at a new school so am still in the process of learning the school specific items that are new here which I was an expert in at my past school.
I'm still new here and have a lot to learn, but with the information I've gathered from this class I should be able to make things go a lot more smoothly.
Iman,
I am also a new hire at my school and am learning new things about the school every day. My training with this agent course has verified that there are so many things I will learn throughout my career here!
I agree, my Director is very helpful for this important information.
Mine is a small school so I am very knowledgeable about the school/
