I am interested in getting additiomnal training in creating a conversational tone with applicants. I need to learn more open ended techniques to keep applicants engaged while on the phone.

More info about Financial Aid and the specifics on what we are and aren't allowed to tell students about federal grants and loans and how those compare to personal loans. My school has covered it in their training but it would be nice to get your perspective on those rules as well.

In regards to admissions their is always room for improvement which allow you to grow as everyday their is always somthing new to learn. YOu have to always stay two steps ahead of the ever changing enviorment.

I feel on my behalf that i can get out into the community more and utilize whats around me

I would like more training on the effective ways to market students. I find it interesting to see how inquiries are developed and what makes students inquire. I think this training would allow admissions staff to have some input as we put together marketing plans throughout the year.

I think just being up to date with the state regulations is best training. Even if it is attending meetings or doing conference calls knowing how to recruit and feeling comfortable is the best way to be trained.

I would like a virtual class or a specific class that goes over recruiting/admissions scenarios with a bit of role playing.

There is always room for more training and education. It would be nice to have some online oportunites to learn more.

I am always interested in learning how to be more successful at my job. Although I am just starting, I think meetings to discuss "best practices" within the rep department and also meetings with other departments to address what they have noticed is working and what is not working in terms of successfully enrolling a student would keep everyone on the same page. Any additional training such as communication (telephone, interview), sales/motivational techniques, compliance, and even team building/ strengthening would be beneficial.

On-line classes seem to be a much better fit for many students as I am seeing many of the students already out in the working world and many have families. The "on-line" route seems to fit these busy schedules far better than attending a traditional class. I would like to see more on this in the future.

More information on how to enrole students that have diplomas from other countries. There is sometime a language barrier too, that I have come across where the student has a hard time understanding what is being said to them during a presentation.

I think in-person networking would be beneficial. It always helps to hear that others are going trough what you are.

I would also be interested in a virtual course about virtual degrees.

I agree with Hollie. I was able to sit in on classes and it has extremely helped me in speaking to students about what we offer.

I think two additional subjects would be what, who are the accrediting bodies of the college.
And how many accrediting bodies are there. For example what is the body for MA or MBC?
And what, who is the over all accredting body for the college in general.

I would like opportunities that would help me be informative to interested students. Education is the key to success.

I agree I would like to see the impact of the virtual classroom as it pertains to brick and mortar, as well as the advantages or disadvantages. I was also wondering if there were any hybrid types of classrooms currently in this format?

Being that referrals and PDLs is a great way to increase and generate business. I would like future training on best practices in this area.

I agree that is very important to be honest as possible about every espect of the school.

Of course, learning more about Financial Aid is always a benefit. At the end of the day it's the cost of the school that generally weighs heaviest on the prospective sutdents mind. On the other hand, having training and learning about continuing education and licensing courses would be hugely beneficial as a "selling point" for those students that want to be more marketable when they begin job hunting, so having more information about those offerings to students would help.
