I would like to see additional ways to ensure the return of students who did not pass the admissions test. I am constantly keeping in touch with them am trying to build them to return. What are the numbers for return test takers, sucess rate and percentage of fails of the first test and retests?

I believe having a set schedule set up in our campus which makes people go to each department and learn about what they do and find out all the information they can. It would be helpful to have forms that are needed to fill out, almost like a "scavenger hunt" to get people to find the answers within the school. This would also help new agents the opportunity to meet new people at their organization.

I think human nature is to be nervous and a tad frightened about the 'process' of saying yes to attending a school-period. So, to me, if I can have in depth knowledge of the steps necessary...from the initial introduction of the school...to that very final step they take into that classroom for their very first day of class....I believe it would be invaluable to eliviating concerns of the student and help them become confidant in thier journey.

I agree complete understanding of each department is helpful.

The more we as admission representatives can understand every other postion in the organization the better we can do our job. This also directly leads to our ability to assist prospective students.

financial aid concerning the proper people to direct a student to..

I believe another area of recruiting that would interest me in future training is learning soft skills. I've noticed that some admission reps do not utilize soft skills.

I want to obtain as much knowledge and information as possible throughout the process of admissions and training.

Getting to know each department and how it functions is vital. Each department helps each other be successful. Good communication is a must. We not only sit in on FA appointments but we have FA and Instructors sit in on the admissions process. It is a great opportunity for other departments to see exactly what is done on the front end, and it also allows for the opportunity to get feedback from those departments.

Other than that product knowledge is key. Getting to know the programs, sitting in on class room training as well as attending field trips to employers when possible. All good stuff in my opinion.

I have found that a big area of opp word be the intial conversation you have with students. Building the rapport, motivation, and helping them make the right decision in which school to choose.

Thats a good question. I think its up to each individual school, because each school is very different. I'm not sure because this is an answer I would adress my school not neccesary OACCS

I would like to know more about our learning resource center and all of the modalities of acquiring assistance through it. I will be researching this.

I am very interested in the quality assurance aspects of the recruting process. It is vital to know that the reps that are speaking with potential students are not only compliant with the laws and regulations but that they are also familar with the programs and giving the correct information.

I very much agree, with Joseph on this.
In order for the uniersity to succeed in doing what is best for the student. It is important to understand interdepartment policy and operations.

It makes the whole experience for the student easier and helps to foster graduation sucess. It is extremely important to have strong ties and understanding between operations and academics.

I agree as the prospect must have utmost faith and trust in the Adm.Rep. and if we are not feeling like we are the experts then we need to become the experts.

I feel that the more information on other departments such as FA, Student Services, Career Services.

i think just understanindg the functions of each department would help out tremendously

I would like to be in contact wiht our academics department more regularly. I frequently e-mail for updates but don't always get a reply. establishing an e-mail/ news letter for general information would be helpful.

Accrediting training
