They are discussed with students through the admissions process. The disclosures are located on necessary documents/forms. They are kept in a binder and retained on school premises.

All students recieve a copy of our catalog and fact about the school.

Very thorough explanation of your process. Thanks for sharing, Monica.

When a student enrolls a packet of documents and required disclosures is created for each person (what documents go into this packet is outlined by out home office and a check list is followed on campus). Each form is reviewed and discussed as necessary by the admissions representative and the student signs and dates that they have read and understand each form. Forms are printed in duplicate so that the student will recieve a copy of eveything as well. This packet of forms becomes the student's adacemic file and is kept in the registrar's office for safe keeping.

We have checklists to ensure that students and prospective students receive the currently required disclosures. The Registrar's office ensures that all of the necessary information is in the student's file.

Admissions must go through the required training to ensure that each student or potential student receives all necessary disclosures. Additionally, the admissions department is monitored to ensure compliance across the board.

That is not part of my daily duties. Disclosures are presented to the student on their first visit to the campus.

Corporate compliance keeps an updated group of disclosures on the college's intranet and advises our local campus via the admissions coordinator and DoA. The intranet is available to us as well as printed copies for the interview process and are used again at the enrollment point.

Disclosed collateral's are reviewed during the interview process and copies are provided. Upon enrollment, copies are signed for acknowledgement and understanding and placed into the permanent accademic file. General disclosures are printed in the school catalog and are updated within each addendum or collateral.

Review of such information with students can be very useful when discussing the information before, during and after the education process.

A general overview of disclosures must be made during the admissions process. The importance of reading the information must be emphasized, and a signature from applicant must be obtained showing they have been given these disclosures. An effective orientation emphasizing same is also necessary.

It is the student's responsibility to read and be familiar with the material. Yet why is it that many do not, and then they blame the institution. How can this area be improved?

Disclosures are given to students during the Admissions process and there are some disclosures that FA has to give the students. These disclosures are printed, given to the student and they sign stating that they have received them.

Current enrollment packets with check off lists that students have been explained policy and procedures that are signed at the enrollment and are provided copies.

Providing the student with a student catalog which outlines the required disclosures ensures the proper information is given to everyone.

During the admission process, our student handbook is given to students which outlines in details all of our disclosures. We continually refer back to that handbook during the time a student is enrolled in our program.

We outline all of our disclosures in a student catalog that is provided to prospective students prior to enrolling.

We have printed meterials that the Admissions Representatives go over with students in detail and also have our catalog on our website.

We ensure these disclosures are provided to prospective students by our Admissions team. We too utilize standardized packets for consistency. We have checks in place that are similar to many of the ones described by other contributors to this discussion. If we all use consistent practices, reinforced with on-going training and follow-up, we will significantly reduce the chances of any student not receiving the information they need to make the important and informed decision to enroll in our school.

These disclosures are given to the student by the admissions representatives. The student is required to sign and date these disclosures.

This is explained by the admissions dept. Students are given forms and asked to read and sign with acknowledge of what they read and encouraged to ask any questions with concerns.

These currently required disclosures are handled by our Admissions Department. All students and perspective students who apply for admission are presented with a copy of the most current school catalog and all additional disclosures by the admissions representitive. Students and prospective students are required to sign and acknowledge that they have received the information.
