I learned the importance that student services plays to prospective students and also to stay on top of how the institution is marketing its materials.
Marketing is really up to each institution. Colleges/universities offer different student services by program/campus.
Integration in the school's offered programs and student journey is essential to fully understand the expected experience of the student.
making sure each of the services that we provide as a school is something not only we reccomend to the students and have no knowledge of but to put ourselves in the students position and ask ourselves is this really beneficial if not how can we improve.
This section contained a lot of usweful information from who i can seek out to learn more about my institution's offerings and student services to the kinds of marketing my institution may use and how to remain iunformed about them.
Promotional options and marketing strategies are not required by FACs but would be beneficial for your institution.
Each institution has its own format for policies and procedures. Each school can market in many ways such as Direct Mail, Direct email, TV, Radio just to name a few. As long as you are not misrepresenting the school you can market the school in many ways.

I learned that as an admissions staff member it's important to know the staff instructor personally and what each person does. SPeaking to the instructor to inure about what they teach different styles so when recruiting new students you can give them more insight into the classroom syles and what each instructor offers.
It's important to gather information from various sources (school catalog, sitting in on classes, talking to administration) to have thourough understanding of your school's program(s).
It is important to understand Fair Consumer Practices and learn about resources for advertising.
I learned that it is important to understand what programs the institution is offering so that I will be prepared to asnswer questions or get the answer to the question to help aid the poteintial student in their decision.
it's very important to know the institution's marketing strategy and be able to use it as a selling point to perspective students
I learned from this lesson the importance of knowing the programs offered by the institution as well as the marketing strategies to promote enrollment in potential students.
Advertisement must not be exaggerated. It should be stated factually.
This section helped me review all sorts of advertising forms that helps in lead generation and getting prospective students to know about your institute and the programs that you are offering.
i learned that is important to seat in workshops that career services offer because you know all kind of jobs grads get and where they can work.
Read the catalog, talk with personnel in the education department, sit in on classes, and talk to the placement department to learn where grads work.
In this section it was made clear that understanding all proceedings and regulations the institution has in place is important as mistakes or issues that occur can affect the accreditation of the institution. Things such as sitting in during classes and regularly speaking with the directors of each department will also help in providing the student with the most up to date and accurate information available.
