1)Be on time. 2) Present yourself in a professional manner ready to participate at all times. 3) Respect the program. Are the three expectations I have of my students on the first day.
Three expectations should have of me are 1) I will Present information clear and precise at a level that they can understand. 2) I will assist them with any reasonable help that they may need to succeed. 3) They will be held accountable and graded fairly as by the rules and regulations of this institution.

I tell them on the first to be on time,Be prepared,books,dress attire,attitude.They should expect knowledge to help them prepare them to work in the field,someone they can come to for help and that they what they paid for.

Most often I teach a graduation class, so my expectations are, to act in a acceptable manner at all times, be punctual, be serious in their learning as this is how they will eran their living. In return they can always approch me with questions, I am always their prior to class for them, and each student will be treated fairly regardless.

for the students; be on time, be ready, have fun.
the expectations of me; on time ( befor the students arrive), well prepared for the first day and every one after, fun starter.. will pique thier interest and keep them coming back for more.

Be on time and in your seats when the bell rings.
Come to class with a professional attitude.
Be prepared don't try to study the night before a test. Stay current with class material.

the three are; be on time, early if possible. the second, ask questions, there are no stupid questions in a classroom of learning.third, be resposible, own your mistakes, learn from them, and be accountable.the three they have of me are,I am honest and trustworthy,I am knowledgeable,and I truely care.

#1 Come to class with a POSITIVE ATTITUDE a must. If they do not wount to be here,there is no way i can make them learn. #2 Come preparied Books,Meter,ECT,#3 Strive to make it to class each day and on time,some subjects are hard to catch up on if you miss. From me #1 MY attitude will alway be positive even on bad days. #2 Will answer all questions to the best of my ability,if i don't know will try to find the answer. #3 Will enforce the rules equally to ALL.

The three things I expect from my class are;
a)Be on time and have good attendance.
b)Follow the school rules.
c)Let me know if you don't understand something.

The three things my students can expect from me;

The expectations that I want of my students are that they come to class on time and are ready to give the best in obtain the information they will need for their futures. Finally, that they are honest with me and their self about learning. If they don’t understand then ask until you do.
As for the expectations that the students have of me they would be that I am there to help and assist them and that they will get an honest answer from me when they ask a question.

To be on time, To be prepared with class material and To have a Positive, Professional, Attitude. That your responsibility is to see that they are successful. Every one will be treated as equal.Don't be afraid to ask questionse everybody is there to learn.Not only will they learn from me but i will also learn from them.

Steve,

During My sop's, I lay out my expectations from them. These include professionalism and all of its facets, Hard work, learning how to use service manuals and reference material. I let them know that I will be aiming at operating the class and lab activites close to the way that a dealership, or service facility might.

Some of the expectations and most important are be on time, be professional and be respectful. What they should expect from me is the same as I expect from them, also be fair.

How i expect them to be professioal in my classroom as well as in the field as they are ambassdors of my class as long as they are with me. Let them know they are the ones in control of the eduaction they are coming here for.I hold the responsible for thier actions to the highest degree. They are in control of the grade they get from this class as it is the most important class here as it teaches them about the pay check the will earn.

Three of the expectations I stress are 1. Be on time and define exactly what that means. 2. Look and carry your self in a professional manner and show some pride and self respect in the way you present yourself and 3.Do your best on every task all the time especially when you thing it’s boring or unimportant.

I tell every class the three things I expect of the them are no talking during lecture. If you have a question or don't understand something raise your hand. Cell phones away if important call take it outside the door in hallway.
The three things they can expect of me are I will help them pass and succeed if they supply the effort. I will try to find the answer to their questions that I donot know or direct them to someone who does. And lastly you only get out of a class what you put into it.

The three expectations that I have for the students. Be to class on time. Be in uniform. come to class ready to learn. The three I have for the students If they dont understand something they need to let me know so I can help them. If I dont know the answer I will find it and get back to them. I also say I will come in early or stay late if they need a one on one training.

John--

As you point out, this is a two-way street. It is wonderful that you openly discuss both sides.

David--

These are excellent points that apply not only to the classroom, but the workplace as well.
