I'm sure we've all heard about the increased education regulations coming out of Washington D.C. over the past several years, intended to provide more accountability to all institutions' marketing, recruiting, and admisisons practices. Many education professionals have complained about the increased scrutiny, which is apalling to me. If these enhanced laws further protect the student from disception and misleading practices, then they are a good thing. It's a shame it takes a stronger microscope to force some educational professionals to do the right thing. We should always do what is right by the student and nothing will ever be in question. Besides that, the student will benefit because they will be a better fit for the institution, and the institution will gain credibility in the eyes of that student which will lead to referrals and other enrollments. Doing what's right will always come back around to you in a positive way.
